Thread Vein Treatment

Thread vein treatment is where a very fine needle is used which directs plasma on the skin over the telangiectasia, thread or spider veins and then an electrical current is passed through the vein which heats and seals the vessel.

Over the course of a few weeks, the vein withers and disperses and becomes much less noticable.

A mild topical anaesthetic cream is used to numb the area prior to treatment.
